A Tribute to Pythagoras
Pythagoras is a Greek Mathematician from the 5th Century BCE. He is credited with the discovery of the Pythagorean Theorem. The Pythagorean Theorem states that in a right triangle the square of the hypothenuse is equal to the squares of the other two sides.
Plumbers owe a great deal of gratitude to Pythagoras for his discovery. Whether laying-out with a chalk line or the Tremble, this equation is used by plumbers multiple times a day. Much of our work is a variation of a triangle and the Pythagorean’s Theorem is the method we use for accuracy, speed, and function.
Native Plumbing honors the contributions of the great men and women before us that have contributed to our artform.
